Installation

Installation guide for the iFac Eclipse Plugins.

If you have worked with ‘com.netTrek.iFac.eclipse_0.0.7.jar’ delete it from the eclipse plugin folder! We have create an update site to support the eclipse update manager!

  1. Open Eclipse and Select “Help -> Software Updates -> Find and install…”

  2. Select “Search for new features to install” and press next

  3. Press “New Remote Site…” and insert iFac into Name and “http://ifac-plugin.com/update”

  4. Select the new Remote-Site checkbox for ‘iFac’ and press finish
  5. Select iFac in search result panel and click ‘next’

  6. Accept the terms of the licens agreement

  7. Finish the installation

  8. Click ‘Install all’

  9. Click ‘yes’ to finish the installation – Eclipse will restart automatically

  10. Select “iFac -> Settings”

  11. Define the fcsh executeable in the iFac preferences

  12. Start iFac Plugin about “iFac -> Settings” or click the iFac icon. A status panel will show you if the iFac connector runs

ANT Task
Since versions 0.1.8 you do not have to install the ant task separately.
