iFac & eclipse update manager

iFac eclipse plugin is now under update manager control. Therfore you can install the iFac plugin with the eclipse upade manager.

    Hey guys,

    iFac is an absolute awesome and THE tool I’ve been looking for almost a year now ;) Thanks a lot!!

    P.S. I’ve some issues running iFac with the latest version installed by Eclipse update manager (com.netTrek.iFac.eclipse_0.1.2.jar). I couldn’t point to the class named “com.netTrek.iFac.ant.core.IFacTask” as described in your examples. It seems that “IFacTask” isn’t include within the latest version?? Anyway, iFac runs with “com.netTrek.iFac.ant_0.0.5.jar” like a charm and that’s fantastic!

    Hi Sectore,

    first of all – THX for your feedback!

    Actually the iFac Ant extension is not part of the plugIn installation and has to be installed separately.

    The reason for that is more philosophic:
    The ant extension is not a plugin therefore we do not include it in the iFac eclipse plugin to keep it clean.

    However – we know that problem and work for a clean solution!

    thanks for your feedback!

    I was little bit confused about the difference between iFac eclipse plugin and the iFac ant extension – but now I understand it, thx :-)

    P.S.: Maybe it’s a good idea to point out these differences on the page called “installation” (http://ifac-plugin.com/?page_id=34) as it’s done on “Documentation” (http://ifac-plugin.com/?page_id=4) .

    thanks for your reply. We always like to hear from people who use iFac and of course we try to achieve their wishes. Check our site for the next days as we will release a new version which will ship the iFac with the eclipse update.

    When updating through FlexBuilder or Eclipse i receive the message

    Network connection problems encountered during search.
